Petsville Animal Hospital’s Helping Tails Initiative: A Lifeline for Luna

Every month, we provide vital care to one pet from a homeless or low-income household, ensuring they receive the treatment they need at a significantly reduced cost.

This month, we were honored to help Luna, a sweet dog who had been struggling with a painful limp. After visiting several veterinary hospitals, Luna’s owner learned that she required a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery to alleviate her condition. Unfortunately, the high costs quoted by other hospitals were beyond his reach, leaving him feeling hopeless.

That’s where Petsville Animal Hospital stepped in. We believe that no pet should suffer due to financial difficulties. Through the Helping Tails initiative, we were able to perform Luna’s TPLO surgery at a very reduced cost. Our dedicated team of veterinarians and staff worked diligently to provide Luna with the best care possible, and we’re happy to share that she’s now on the path to a full recovery, once again enjoying her playful, energetic life.
